Pastor Heidi received her Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago in 1988. In 2022, she received her Doctor of Ministry degree from United Lutheran Seminary.
When asked where she grew up, Heidi's simple answer is "the C states," as she lived in Connecticutt, California and Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado, before beginning her seminary studies. Pastor Heidi has served as a pastor in Ava, MO, Lake St. Louis, MO, Naperville, IL and Perkasie, PA. In 2005 she began working at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, (now United Lutheran Seminary.) In 2018 she left her position as the seminary's Director of Student Services to return in parish ministry. In 2021 Pastor Heidi began working as an Interim Pastor for the Southeast Pennsylvania Synod. This is her third interim placement.
Heidi and her husband Matt are delighted to be living in the parsonage with their cat Lillian Gish. They have one daughter, Katie, who lives in Norristown with her partner Sean.
