God's work. Our hands.

Kathy Pokalo – Council President

Kathy has been a member of St. Mark’s since 1983.  She worked as the parish secretary from the mid-80s through early 90s, literally raising her daughters in the church.  It’s been gratifying to see how the Holy Spirit has kept the congregation going through some very turbulent times.  She’s served the congregation in the past on council, chairing a call committee and later, the re-development process.  She’d  like seeing an entrepreneurial-ecumenical attitude toward serving the community–encouraging and supporting the work of different members; the body has many parts, but one head and one heart.

Kathy has been teaching high school and college English since 1988.  She and her husband George have been married and lived in Conshohocken for 35 years.
